Here are a few pictures from, according to my kids, the best day ever: last Tuesday when we went with the Emmertsons to meet the Parkes at Boondocks.
I was thinking about how much we love to see the Parkes and it seems like no matter how long it has been since we've seen eachother, the kids just pick up right where they left off. They are special to us, indeed. I have this picture in a frame on my kitchen windowsill, so we get to see it everyday. It was taken in April 2007 when we visited Mobile for Spring Break.
And then this one taken last week after the Parkes were nice enough to come to our house after Boondocks. Same kids, minus Chelsea (at EFY - we missed you, Chelsea!) and add the moms, Ricky, a Parkes cousin and his friend. This was right after we met in the parking lot. And a few more pictures of the fun:
We feel so blessed to have been able to spend that time with them. What is it about friends?
