The totally happenin' Olympic Party

My neighbors have done an awesome job blogging about our latest shindig, which, by the way, happened on Ricky's birthday. (Happy Birthday, Baby!) You can read about it here or here or here. When the girls started talking "Olympic Party," I thought we would get together and maybe watch the opening ceremony or something, but oh no, they had much more up their sleeves than that. We PUT ON the Olympics, we BECAME olympians ourselves, we WERE the Olympics! By the way, I'm sure this party was totally rockin', too. Hopefully we can party together in 2012. Hey, we can dream, can't we? So, here's my pictoral contribution for posterity's sake:

First, a video of the torch relay:

All the kids waiting for their turn:

Here is Riley showin' her stuff. That's Gavin in front vacuuming the lawn.

Trent clears the bar:

Brant made it home from football practice just in time to walk the balance beam:Nice Job, Brant!

Gavin's favorite event of the night was the cupcake eating. He took second, though. He didn't stand a chance against cute Mya. She scored a perfect ten.

Here's Lance on the medal stand:And of course, I have to include some unflattering pictures of Ricky and I on the hurdles:
The last event was the bike race. Good Times.....
