Some Jack Johnson Love

Our computer happily resides here in this little corner of the kitchen.

We spend alot of time coming and going and hanging out right here in the kitchen. One of our favorite afternoon pastimes is turning on the playlist of some of our blog-friends and rockin' out to whatever comes on. All the world's a dance floor, right? Lately, we've discovered that on YouTube, you can not only listen to the song, but watch the video as well.

We rock out to Toby Keith, Hannah Montana, Coldplay, Billy Joel, you name it... But there is one artist we can't get enough of. We are crazy about Jack Johnson. For your pleasure, here is a little Jack Johnson love right here. Incidentally, the name of our blog was inspired by this song:

We think he was awesome on the "Curious George" soundtrack. This video is on the DVD. When Lance saw it for the first time, he asked me to get him a short-sleeved red t-shirt to wear with his jeans so he could look like Jack.

I noticed the website at the bottom of that video. You see Jack Johnson doesn't have www.jackjohnson.com because that one was taken by this company. The Jack Johnson company. The good people in Park City, UT who lured our little family out of our comfortable little lives in Mobile, AL and convinced us to move across America to Utah. That's a story for another day. Suffice it to say the JJC is good to us and Ricky is about as close to his "dream job" as he can get. We're happy to know everyone associated with that company. And happy to listen to the music that was recommended at the bottom of their website.

You stink, Lynne!!!! When you call to tell me that you have updated your blog, you might want to take into consideration my emotional state at the time. Thanks for opening the flood gate of tears that I have been holding back. The music was just icing on my pity cake. But at least I have the consolation of only 37 more days!
