Sunday in our Home Ward

On Sunday morning before we left to come back to Utah, we went to church one more time in the Mobile Ward, our Home Ward. We call it that because, truly we love our Harvest Hills 6th Ward in Utah - the best ward in the Church, I promise, but I have figured out that after living away for exactly five years, Mobile will ALWAYS be home. Always. See, Ricky and I were attending the Mobile Ward when we met, dated, and got married. (Don't forget, fresh off his mission, he was my Youth Sunday School teacher:) All five of our children received their name and blessing in that ward. We served there for many years and we love the ward-members like family. And they are always so kind and welcoming when we come back. Annie jokingly asked Ricky before we left church that day if he was finished signing autographs because the ward-members REALLY love their "Bishop Benham".

So, here are Lance and Hayden waiting for church to start. Gavin is clearly involved with something much more interesting...

Trent's first and oldest friend is Blake Parkes. Born just 3 weeks apart, these two seem to pick up right where they left off every time they see each other. It's fun/weird to think that in four short years, these two will be preparing to serve missions and could be in the MTC at the same time. What a party that would be!
And here they are again with Blake's sister, Hannah, putting off the inevitable... T-minus 2 hours until we were Utah-bound.
