Tuckered Out...

So... Friday night Ricky and I had a hot date. We went to his work Christmas Party. Yep. For anyone who reads my blog that I don't talk to regularly, which is probably nobody, last June, after being out of work for almost four months, Ricky landed a sweet job with the City of Sandy as Chief Engineer with the public utilities department. This means he makes sure that the water flows safely, efficiently, and reliably into the homes of the good people of Sandy City. This also means that as long as he does a good job (which of course he does), the high-up muckety-mucks in Sandy like him (which of course they do), and the people in Sandy need water (which of course they always will) he will have a job for many years to come. Every year, the Public Utilities Dept. holds their Christmas Party in January so as not to take up an evening of the employees' time during the holidays. We had a great time socializing with his coworkers and their spouses. He works with some really great people and I have enjoyed getting to know them.

Trent had a party to go to, so Riley got to babysit. (We had to reserve her, for real!) The boys wanted to watch movies all night so we let them pull the bed out of the couch and sleep in their sleeping bags. They didn't even make it through the first movie, bless their hearts. Love 'em.
