The little ones finished wrapping the presents they picked out for their siblings this morning. Lance was so excited and careful about it. He used about 1/2 a roll of paper on Riley's gift but he was happy with the results...
There has been a freakishly small amount of snow this year and today was unseasonably warm, so we took a family walk to the park to let the kids burn off some energy. There was a family there that was shooting off rockets and one got stuck in a tree. Ricky and Trent lifted Brant up to retrieve it...
When the time had finally come to open a Christmas Eve gift, the little guys were super-excited. They all chose gifts that were from each other...
Then Riley read out of Luke chapter 2. Everyone was quiet and reverent until she got to the end of verse 4. She read, "...because he was of the house and lineage of David...smiley face." And she was totally serious...
