{...and Spring Break 2012 begins...}

We couldn't be happier that Spring Break is finally here. We ALL need this time to slow down a little bit and enjoy some down time. We don't have anything fancy planned, just some fun things around here. This morning the kids drove around the neighborhood passing out fliers for out Relief Society activity tomorrow night. Then Trent and Jack picked up some friends and went off-roading up behind the neighborhood. The weather is perfect for jumping on the trampoline and playing outside...

This picture is not as bad as it looks. Gavin wanted me to take a picture of him pointing his unloaded BB gun out into the field... at the same time that Lance did a backflip...

Later, we picked Ricky up early from work and hiked up Bell Canyon in Sandy...

About 3/4 mile up, there is an area that is called a lake, but the water is very low. Between a record-low snowfall this year and not much run-off from the snow that has fallen, it was just a muddy mess. Ricky and I watched as the kids ran down to the water and came back with mud up to their knees. It looked like they were all wearing dark socks.
