{Happy 16th Birthday, Trent!!!}

Trent's 16th birthday celebration started with sibling gifts in the kitchen. We would normally wake him up singing to him, but he requested that we leave him alone so he could sleep in. When he finally came upstairs, it was after 9:00 and almost time for General Conference, so we gave him his gifts and enjoyed his birthday breakfast of crepes and fruit while we watched the Prophets speak. We decided that crepes and General Conference are a delicious pair and will probably make that a tradition...

After the morning seesion was over, the celebration continued when Ricky took Trent and Jack to this awesome shooting place in Murray. They did something similar to this on Jack's 16th birthday and have been planning on this for Trent's big day ever since. They took some of our guns to shoot, and were also able to try out some of the fancy ones that the gun shop had.

When they were finished shooting, we met them at Dickie's in American Fork for some good old Southern-style BBQ.

 Then it was off to the Priesthood Session while we frosted his Cool Whip Cake and finished wrapping his presents. We had a little party when they got home from Priesthood and the celebration continues on Monday when he goes to get his driver's license!!!
