For the third year in a row, La Fiesta fell on the same night as our Ward's Fathers and Sons Campout. We decided that the boys would participate in the program, then go straight to the campout. So we packed the car with all of their camping gear and went to La Fiesta. After the show, as the boys were headed to the campout, we ran into a couple of people from the ward who informed us that because it rained earlier in the day, the campout had been cancelled. Lame. But the boys decided to have their own campout and even camped at the same place where the ward would have been...
