{Bass Pro Shops and a house tour}
After spending a few days in Stapleton, we headed back across the bay to Annie's, making a pit stop at Bass Pro Shops in Spanish Fort. Yes, Brant lost his shoes somewhere along the way, but it's OK, we're on vacation. Just kidding, we found them. Lance and Gavin tried out the boats in the showroom...
On the way back, we needed to drop something off to Tim at the fire station on Moffett Rd. so I decided to take the kids on the great house tour.
First stop, 1426 Druid Dr., our first house. Ricky and I bought this little house in April of 1994, four months before we were married. We fixed it up a little bit and moved in after our wedding in August of that year. We paid $39,000 for it and our mortgage payment was $380/month. Crazy, huh? Those big oak trees are pretty, but they sure caused us alot of angst since they brought in some nasty big tree roaches. Blech. I almost didn't recognize the house when we drove by. The bricks and darker paint are new. When we lived here it was all white siding. We lived in this house until December of 2001, right before our #3, Brant was born...
Our next stop was the little house at the end of Wesley Avenue where we lived for 2 years until we bought the Wildwood Ave. house. Someone was outside the Wesley house so I didn't want to take a picture and seem like a creeper. We drove a couple streets over to the Wildwood house. The sight of this house always takes my breath away. I loved living here. It looked so pretty, as usual. I always wonder if we hadn't moved to Utah if we would still live here. Sigh...
