This was Lance's and Gavin's first time skiing. Ricky took Gavin and I took Lance. We taught them how to snowplow and stop and they just took off. Lance caught on so quickly. He learned how to ride the tow rope, control his speed, turn, and stop. Next time, we will for sure bring him on the chair lift...
Gavin was such a little trooper. When he fell down, he dusted himself off, popped his skis back on, and kept going...
No pictures of Brant because the second we got to Alta and he got his equipment on, he jumped on the chair lift and I literally didn't see him again until we were finished and he was in the car with the big kids chowing down on all the snacks we brought.

My cute friend Rachel was up there with her family, too. We shut down the tow rope with our littles that night. Trent finally had to come get us because everyone else was finished skiing. Alta was so peaceful, although a little cold, after the sun went down. It is a dream of a winter scene with the quiet of the snow and the happy sounds of the kids. I sure love this place...
