{A few last minute touches...}
...on a presentation Ricky and I are giving at the Stake Relief Society Activity tomorrow. We've been preparing for weeks for this presentation on "Increasing Personal Faith and Righteousness". We have loved spending this time reading, pondering, talking, and preparing together. We hope we will be able to teach with the Spirit tomorrow and share a little bit of the things we have learned and felt as we've prepared.
See that amazing quilt? Ricky's grandmother was an avid quilter. She always had one or ten going at a time. Last month, when Ricky's mom came to visit she brought us this masterpiece, hand-stitched by the lovely IV Mitchem herself. This was the last one she made before she died in 2007 at the age of 93. It is so special to us. We even found a straight pin that was left in the binding. :)
