{Happy Memorial Day}
I love this picture of Gavin, Lance, and Riley at Arlington National Cemetery. When we were there last summer those words from the song "America the Beautiful" played over and over in my mind. We are thankful for those men and women who loved our country and freedoms more than their own comfort and lives. We honor and remember them today and everyday. What a beautiful thing it is to live in the United States of America and enjoy the freedoms that are defended by honorable service men and women all over the world.
We were invited up to Dave's for a BBQ and what a cool BBQ it was...
There were fresh grilled chickens...
A dipping sauce contest...
A whole smoked lamb...
Gavin tried a taste of everything, including the lamb tongue. Not even kidding...
The best part, though was hanging out with Dave and meeting some of his friends...
...and when we got home the boys wrestled in the front hall. Because that's what they do...
