{Summer Vacation!!!}
These two pictures are my favorites because this is what I hope these boys do all summer...
After a fun day of hanging out with the kids, we had a busy night. First up was my piano recital. It was more like a piano party, though. My students played their songs so well. It was fun to have all the families come to cheer on their kids/siblings and see how hard they have worked this year. When the piano playing was over it was cupcake time...
Then we hurried down the street to the Davises house for the most exciting part of the night. Taylor opened his mission call in front of family and friends. We were so happy to be invited to this special occasion. He is called to serve in the San Diego Mission! He will speak Spanish so he will report to the Mexico MTC at the end of July! We are so so excited for him! He is going to be an awesome missionary...
When we got home our new neighbors were outside checking out the house they are building at the end of our street. I chatted with them for a few minutes and when I came inside, Ricky had made this delicious grilled salmon dinner for us to share for a little date night. It was seriously yummy and fun to spend the rest of the evening with him.
