Brant (Ricky's cousin from Arizona) and his three boys got here last night to spend a few days with us before they go back to school. As a bonus, they got to go to 7th Ward with us to see Taylor Davis give his "Mission Farewell" talk.
Taylor has been one of Trent's closest friends in high school and we are so excited for him to serve in the San Diego Mission. His Mom, Jen is one of my favorite people and she also spoke in church. They both gave such inspiring talks about the Temple. Taylor asked Jenny Phillips, who is a family friend of the Davises, to sing her song "Temple Spires" and I got to accompany her on the piano. It was a really special Sacrament Meeting. I know Taylor is going to be an incredible missionary.
After church, Jen, had everyone over for lunch and visiting. We stayed so long that we probably wore out our welcome, but it was such a pleasant, spirit-filled day. We sure love our adopted "Utah family"...
