So Mimi and Opa left Friday morning...destination: Saratoga Springs. They had been planning to leave Friday after their house closing on Thursday. Unfortunately, the buyers flaked out on them and the house is back on the very saturated Mobile housing market. Undeterred, they have decided to check out of here anyway. Good for them. They arrived safely at our house Sunday night. We couldn't be more excited to have them there when we get home. Our excitement, however is tempered by our awareness of the effect that their absence will have on the Emmertsons in Mobile. The next few months will not be easy as they wait for their house to sell and we very anxiously await them joining us in Utah. Our daily prayers are for them and someone to buy their house. We feel so blessed for the opportunity that we have to be here with them for Thanksgiving.
