Our first hike was up Kolob Canyon in the far northwest corner of the park. The red rocks are amazingly beautiful. I've seen pictures of Zion N. P. many times but to see it in person was very cool. Everyone did really well on the hike. Ricky carried Gavin on his back and everyone else walked. Here are a few pictures we took: Sorry about the smudge on my camera lens on the first few. I was pretty bummed when I discovered it.
We had to cross this stream several times while we were walking. At first, Lance carefully walked from rock to rock across the stream. But, once he got his shoes wet the first time, he just walked right through the stream after that.
Gavin was pretty excited when Ricky finally let him out of the backpack.
