Friday we had another seriously fun day at the beach. We packed lots of yummy snacks and Annie has this great canopy that provides plenty of shade for the kids to get out of the sun if they need to. It is so relaxing for Annie and I to sit together watching the kids, laughing, talking, and soaking up the sun.
Hayden, Gavin, and Lance enjoy sitting on the edge of the water and screaming everytime a wave breaks. The water was a bit murkier this time, but no one seemed to mind. At least it is still too early for jelly fish.
This time a highlight of the day was digging for clams. Everyone got in on it and we had quite a collection. Luckily, Ricky was able to convince them that the clams would stink really bad if we brought them home, so they were released back into their home before we left for the day.
Gavin's favorite part was being buried in the sand. He would lay down in the same spot and yell for anyone walking by to bury him.
Is that my son? Seriously when I looked at this picture, it took me by surprise how big he looks. sniff...sniff...My baby's growin' up...
And then one of us...it really was such a fun, fun, relaxing day.
