Ricky and I snuck out before Riley's futsol game this morning to attend an early session at the Temple. We were proxy for two people from Ricky's mom's ancestry. A brother and a sister born in the late 1800s. Ricky for Union Mitchem and I for Rebakah Mitchem. It was a special blessing for us to be able to do their work this morning.
After leaving the Temple we stopped at Macey's to finally pick up our picture CDs. Ricky was feeling a little sluggish and wanted a Diet Coke. He noticed a display outside the store - very cold 2 liters for 79 cents. A 20 oz. was $1.49 - go figure. He kiddingly picked up the 2 liter and said he needed a straw. I told him to go ahead and get it - I wouldn't make fun of him or take his picture or anything...
Anyway, thanks to our cute neighbors, the Perrys, for picking Riley up and bringing her to the game. We got there just in time for it to start. The Rage played great and won!!! Riley scored a sweet goal. Here she is in the middle high-fiving a very tall 12???? year-old from the opposing team who somehow thought she needed to have full body contact with Riley during the entire game. Nice.
