Happy Birthday, Riley! We celebrated all weekend, but we were so excited to spend this Sunday celebrating our sweet RileyBird. Her brothers woke her up with gifts that they picked out themselves.
After church we celebrated with Riley's choice of Penne Rustica and Chocolate Heath Cake.
Mimi, Opa, and Dave came over to wish Riley a special day.
Let it go down on record that this was the birthday that Riley's Daddy wanted to get her an ipod touch. He even bought it and was ready to wrap it up when she told us that she really wanted new clothes, some fun things to redecorate her room, and a little video camera. So, the ipod went back to Wal-Mart and I made a Saturday Night trip to Kohl's, Justice, Target, and Old Navy with a special mission to make the birthday wishes of my sweeter-than-pie 13-year-old come true. Here she is with her new zebra blanket sporting her new Young Women birthday socks from her YW leaders.
Perhaps the most exciting part about turning13, though, was getting her new, very own, Facebook account. Here she is reading all of the sweet birthday messages from friends on Mimi's iphone.
