{She won!!!}
Riley found out this afternoon that she won the Student Council election. Because she had to stay after school for play practice, the boys and I met her at school to find out her news. We wanted to be there to congratulate her if she won, and I wanted to be there to hug her if she didn't. It was so sweet when we were in the school because everyone who passed her yelled their congratulations or gave her a hug. What sweet kids she goes to school with! She wasn't finished with rehearsal until 5 o'clock, so we had plenty of time to put together a little party for her and make some signs. Her sweet brothers wanted to brave the snowy/rainy cold to hold the signs out on the porch when Ivy's mom dropped her off.
Yes, that is Sharpie all over Gavin's face. The QOTD comes from my phone conversation with Annie this afternoon. She thought it was hilarious. Maybe because all she heard was me shouting this... "Sit down right here and don't move! Where's the Sharpie?"
