{A squeeze from the Teacher}
I checked Lance out of school early today, not knowing that his class was in the middle of a Mother's Day project. After school, his teacher came to our door and asked for Lance. She brought him out to her car and helped him finish his project. They wrapped it carefully in a bag and he brought it in the house and put it in a safe place. Seriously. What 1st grade teacher goes out of her way on a Friday afternoon to do this for one of her students? Paula Jorgenson does, that's who. She is one-of-a-kind and a blessing in Lance's life and mine.
