{Stake Conference}
Here is a shot of Stake Conference as seen from the back of the HH6th Ward building. It was happening live at the Stake Center and broadcast to our building and the 5th Ward building. We heard from Elder Leavitt of the Seventy. His talk was inspiring and informative. He told us that there were 5500 members of our Stake, the Saratoga Springs North Stake, which is basically our neighborhood. Of those 5500 members, 2200 of them are under the age of 12! Wow. He talked to those 2200 members and told them that because we live in such a new area, they would be the ones to set the tone for gospel living in our Stake. He told them that not very many people could actually say that they were "from" Saratoga Springs but they can say that. He also pointed out that we have only 6 full-time missionaries serving from our Stake right now. But, in 10-12 years, that number could literally be in the 100s. Very cool to think about...
