{Yay! Time to get the cast off... or so we thought}
Gavin was so excited to go see Dr. Mackey today. It has been almost 6 weeks since his accident and he was ready to say goodbye to the cast.
When the nurse removed it, he moved his arm around, itched a little bit, and happily jumped off the table and ran to the x-ray room. A few minutes later, the doc came in with the bad news... not enough new bone growth, fractures still visible, proceed back to the cast room. At least this one will only go to the elbow and will be waterproof. This is the way his bones look after nearly 6 weeks...
Afterwards, we brightened his mood by taking him and the rest of the family to the Auto Show in Sandy. Gavin got to drive the Jeep...
Then dream about driving a real Jeep someday...
Lance did his best "Mater" impersonation...
And the big boys did a little dreaming of their own in the new Modern Warfare 3 Jeep...
