{First Day of School}

The high schoolers are ready. Riley is in 9th grade and Trent is in 11th. A Freshman and a Junior. I am so happy for them to get to go to such an awesome school together. Seriously, Westlake is the best. Great, teachers, a great administration, but mostly it is the awesome kids that go there that make me so excited for them this year. Their friends are top-notch kids. And they get to ride together in the Jeep. It's going to be a great year. Riley planned her outfit several days ago. Trent? Well, he grabbed whatever was clean. And, yes, he is barefoot. He keeps his flip-flops tucked next to the seat his car and only puts them on right when he walks in the door. Love that redneck boy of mine...

And then we have our Elementary Schoolers...

Brant is starting 6th grade, his fifth year in Spanish Immersion and last year of Elementary School. Lance will be in 3rd grade and year 2 of Spanish Immersion. Gavin doesn't actually start school until next week, but he is so ready and excited for Kindergarten. I get to be the PTA President at Harvest Elementary this year. I am happy to do it and am excited to work with so many of my friends who are teachers at the school and my Board is filled with awesome hard workers, so this should be fun. The boys line up for the beginning of a great year...
