{Hundreds respond to a call for help}
This was the scene at 3 o'clock this morning in the south part of our city. Flash flooding last night caused mudslides and flooding in homes that were near the burn scar caused by the fires earlier this summer. The call for help went out through Stake Presidencies and Bishoprics. Within a half hour, hundreds of volunteers were on hand to fill and place sand bags and scoop mud out of basements.
In other news, my trusty bread maker kneaded it's last batch of dough today. It is gone for good...
