{Halloween in Pictures}

Trent and Riley left for school while it was still dark outside dressed as Dwight from The Office and Deb from Napolean Dynamite...

Lance as a prisoner...

...and Gavin as a gorilla in the parade at school...

Gavin's second costume of the day came when I dropped him off for his Kindergarten time. He was tired of the gorilla suit so he took it off and decided that his clothes underneath made him look like a hippie. He grabbed some sunglasses out of the car and was good to go...

After dropping Gavin off, I stopped into the lunchroom to bring Lance a Happy Meal and to eat lunch with him...

After school we all got to work making 200 popcorn balls to pass out to Trick or Treaters...

When it was finally Trick or Treating time, Lance and Brant met up with Spencer Scoresby and Zack Sabey. Their plan was to go around the neighborhood as fast as they could and get as much candy as they could...

Riley met her friends Katie and Ivy at Ivy's house...

And Trent helped Gavin with his 3rd costume of the day. They ripped up a shirt together and Trent painted him up to look like a zombie...

I took Gavin Trick or Treating around our ward while Ricky and Trent set the fire pit up in the driveway and stayed behind to pass out treats...

Ricky thought it would be funny to dress as a redneck and found a few things in our closet to make himself look convincing...

I thought he was especially convincing when he started pouring gasoline on the fire. You can take the boy out of Alabama, but you can't take the Alabama out of the boy...

In case you were wondering, yes, the belly is fake...

We had so many Trick or Treaters this year that our 200 popcorn balls lasted only an hour so Trent had to make an emergency candy run to Walmart...

After a while, Riley and her friends made their way back to our house. They came inside for a drink and some white chili, then asked me to take them across the neighborhood to finish up the night.
