{Stake Young Women Medallion Luncheon}
The Stake puts on a luncheon every year in the fall for all of the Young Women who have received their medallion in the past year. Today Riley and I attended the luncheon in a beautiful banquet room at Thanksgiving Point. We sat at a table with Mallory and Erin and their Grandmother and the Stockmans.
And while Riley and I were at the fancy luncheon, Trent and Jack pretended to be homeless...
They drove up American Fork Canyon last night with Brother Hite and Brother Stapleton for a backpacking campout. They parked at Silver Lake then hiked four miles up to their campsite. Jack carried the tent and Trent carried the poles. When they got to their campsite, they discovered that they had brought the wrong poles for the tent. Luckily, Brother Stapleton had some paracord so they rigged themselves up a shelter and went to sleep. They said it was the warmest they have slept on any winter campout.
