{First Day of Camp!}
Probably the most exciting part of camp is on Monday morning when we get up there early, get everything situated, then the girls start to arrive on the buses. Everyone is so excited to be there and the feeling of anticipation in the air is the best...
Baggage claim...
My own little cutie coming to say HI to me after the bus ride. Actually she was coming to get her suitcase and bedding which she sent with me on the food trailer...
The rest of my Monday was spent getting the kitchen all set up and preparing for our BBQ pork dinner. And of course there was lots of visiting the girls in the Stake at their cabins and hanging out with the 6th Ward.
On Monday nights we always have a Stake Family Home Evening. It is modeled after a FHE that the girls would have in their own homes. The Stake Presidency visits camp that night with their wives and they each take a turn giving a talk/lesson to the group. Riley and I were super excited for them to arrive...
Since Pres. Stockman, Brooke and I were already here, Ricky rode up with Pres. and Sister Delis. We gave quick hugs when they came, then sat down together as couples for dinner with the missionaries.
After dinner, we headed over to the amphitheater for flag ceremony and FHE...
Later, the 4th year girls had a meeting about their overnight hike...
We couldn't let the Stake Presidency leave without taking their turn in the photo booth...
...and one of us just for fun...
