While Lance and Hayden set things up in the front yard, Gavin decided he should go door to door on our street, then ride his bike around the rest of the Ward to drum up business...
The first customers were the big kids...
...then Gavin's efforts paid off when kids from all over the ward started riding their bikes up to our street for some refreshment...

Annie and I took off for a couple hours to visit some Teacher Supply Stores. While we were gone, the kids covered the driveway in beautiful chalk art...
We celebrated the impromptu "Chalk Art Festival" with a pizza party outside...
And as the sun began to set on this perfect summer day, we jumped in the cars and drove out to Eagle Mountain to watch the beautiful sunset and find some ice cream along the way...
...after Ricky reminded Trent about driving safely with the doors off...
