{Pinewood Derby Night!}
Lance knew he wanted to make his car into the General Lee the minute they announced the race this year. Turns out his car not only looked cool, it was fast too!
With the thousands of Cub Scouts in our ward, the competition is pretty stiff. And we have some dads (ahem) who get into it very heavily. Usually the same families win every year (the Benham family NOT being one of them) so Lance was ecstatic when he placed high in his first two heats and ended up tying for 5th place overall!
Meanwhile, at Vista Heights, Brant performed in his very first band concert. He plays the trombone. The concert was nice, but band is definitely not Brant's favorite thing. It's OK, though. He's experiencing new things, right?
