{A little mother-daughter Saturday afternoon shopping trip to Target}
Today is McCall's birthday!
Later, Ricky and I left for a little late-night Temple date. We headed north on Redwood Road. When we got to the intersection at Bangerter he asked me which Temple I wanted to go to. Turn left and in 5 minutes we would be at the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. Turn right and in 5 minutes we would be at the Draper Temple. Go straight and in 5 minutes we would be at the Jordan River Temple. We picked Jordan River and proceeded to pick which family members we would be proxy for tonight. I took one card at a time out of our Temple Box and we discussed each person. We finally chose a brother and sister born in the late 1800s from Ricky's mom's line. We felt really excited about doing an endowment session in behalf of these two. When we got to the recommend desk the nice Temple worker asked us if we would be available to do sealings. We looked at each other and nodded our heads at the same time. We didn't have any of our own families' sealing cards with us, so we would do Temple names for the first time ever. I walked to the dressing room feeling a little sad that our own family wouldn't have their work done tonight. That sad feeling was replaced with an overwhelming feeling of peace. I knew that what we were doing was good and that the families that would be made eternal tonight had waited for this moment and were thankful for our willingness to change our plans. We had a lovely time in the Temple. We experienced some wonderful, unexpected things that made us smile and love each other even more.

Neil and I were married and sealed at the Jordan River temple so as I was reading your post I was hoping you would pick that one!
